Refer a Friend Campaign – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the Refer a Friend campaign (the “Campaign”) operated by The Mortgage Store, Middleton. By participating in this Campaign, both the Referrer and the Referred Friend agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Campaign is open to existing customers of The Mortgage Store, Middleton, who refer a friend, colleague, or family member for a mortgage with us.
2.2 The Referred Friend must be a new customer to The Mortgage Store, Middleton.
2.3 Employees of The Mortgage Store, Middleton, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

3. Referral Process

3.1 To qualify, the Referrer must submit the Referred Friend’s details via our official referral form, email, or another approved method before the Referred Friend applies for a mortgage.
3.2 The Referred Friend must successfully complete a mortgage application and have their mortgage funded with The Mortgage Store, Middleton.

4. Referral Reward

4.1 The Referrer is eligible to receive a referral reward of £100 once the Referred Friend’s mortgage is completed.
4.2 The reward can be issued in one of the following forms, as chosen by the Referrer:
   • Cash
   • Voucher
   • A donation to a registered charity of the Referrer’s choice.

5. Payment of Referral Reward

5.1 The referral reward will be paid within 28 days of the Referred Friend’s mortgage completion.
5.2 Payments will be made via bank transfer, voucher, or direct donation to the selected charity.
5.3 If the Referred Friend cancels their mortgage application or does not complete the process, no reward will be paid.

6. Restrictions

6.1 There is no limit to the number of referrals an individual can make, but each Referred Friend can only be referred once.
6.2 Self-referrals are not permitted.
6.3 The Referred Friend must consent to being referred under this scheme.

7. Tax Implications

7.1 It is the Referrer’s responsibility to declare and pay any applicable taxes on the referral reward received. The Mortgage Store, Middleton, is not liable for any tax implications arising from this reward.

8. Fraud and Misuse

8.1 We reserve the right to disqualify participants and withdraw rewards if we suspect fraudulent activity, including but not limited to:
   • Referring oneself or using fake identities.
   • Engaging in referral abuse or misrepresenting the campaign.

9. Changes and Termination

9.1 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Campaign at any time without prior notice.
9.2 Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be updated here [hyperink to the landing page or website].

10. General

10.1 This Campaign is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
